Brody did an excellent job when we drove to and from Oklahoma a couple weeks ago! He slept most of the time and usually only woke up when he was hungry. The weather was REALLY cold on the way there....Brody had his first experience with 12 degree weather! =) (Hey, that's FREEZING for Louisianans!) We had a GREAT first family vacation--lots of resting!! =) Mary and Jerry were so awesome about playing with and watching Brody so we could take a couple naps and sleep in a little (like til 8 or 9!). Of course, I don't think we had to twist their arms too much to do that! =) We had DELICIOUS food the whole weekend and really enjoyed getting to see Dave's sister's family. Mary was ecstatic about having us there, and especially Brody, for her birthday. I am so glad we made the trip!!!
