Maternity Pictures Part 1

Last Sunday, Jamie volunteered to take our maternity pictures for us. She is such a good photographer and she and I both have similar tastes in our photography so I knew she would be perfect for the task (& task it was!). =) I LOVED how they turned out!! Some people have asked why I would want to take maternity pictures and I think it's because I have that photographers mentality and want to capture everything in print or photo form. It will be so wonderful to have these pictures to look back on one day when Brody is much older so I can reminisce where he started and think about the miracle God provided. This has been such a pleasant experience for me and I want to remember it in a visual way since it's hard to capture any other way. Plus, anytime I get an excuse to take pictures with my Davey I will jump at the opportunity!! =) He looks so CUTE in all these pictures!!! =) Thanks, Jamie, for such a fun evening!!! You did an incredible job!!!! =)

As you can imagine, we took a couple hundred pictures that night, so here are just a sampling of my favorites....

Jamie brought her "entourage" with her to the photo shoot so it was fun seeing Olivia playing, as well as helping her mom as her "assistant". Olivia even tried out Brody's new high chair to see how it would work for him. She apparently liked it so I hope he will, too! (Thanks, Jenn, for sending it to him! It cleans up so easily.) It's nice to know that we now have things at our house that are useful when we have other guests under the age of 3 over to our house! =)

These are the smiles I get when I am around Olivia these days. She is usually such a happy little girl, and she LOVES her Auntie "Shevral"! She speaks of me OFTEN apparently--even when I am not around! =)
