My once EXTREMELY active little boy is starting to show some signs of slowing down a little these days...
This is his favorite spot in the whole yard...every time we go out to play (if it's not wet), he finds the water meter and sits right on top of it! He loves to play with the leaves and watch the cars drive by...
(Wonder if "sword fights" have had anything to do with his interest in sticks lately??)
(Side note: Any time I put a blanket on the floor like this, he walks right to it on his own. He knows he is about to be changed, or get dressed, or whatever--he used to eat his bottle on the blanket so I'm guessing that's why.... He also knows when I say, "Time to brush your teeth" that he needs to go to the bathroom and heads straight there. "We need to change your diaper" means "head to your bedroom", and he also goes right there. Guess routines DO work on him sometimes???)
He also became interested in pushing things around recently. He hasn't always been a big fan, even when he was learning to walk. It's so cute to watch him try to push it...usually it just ends up being dragged! =) Little patience??
Though he's still active as can be, he apparently CAN slow down.... =)
