For our trip to the dentist today, we dressed Brody in his track jacket. I love it because it makes him look so grown up and handsome. Navy blue is definitely a good color on him! ;-)
As we waited for Daddy to get his teeth cleaned, Brody ran back and forth throughout the waiting room, looking out windows, and tried to climb in the chairs. Fortunately there was only one other lady in there, and she was only there about 10 minutes.
He was mesmerized by the fountain on the wall! (and, as you can imagine it was difficult making a 16 month old understand why he can't play in the water...)
He ate snacks, and begged me for more. Look at that sweet face...you can imagine he didn't have to beg long! =)
And he even caught up on the latest dental recommendations and tools.
Both my handsome men looking sharp in their track jackets!!! Daddy had a cavity-free visit, and so did Mommy!! YAY!!!!!!!! =)
Back at home, Brody didn't let down the "track star" name! He ran everywhere throughout the yard! He was so fast it was hard to capture him...per usual! =)
We had a lot of fun chasing each other and laughing.
He even ran to his new-found interest....pointing out the rectangles on the neighbor's garage door! He waits until I say "rectangle" before he moves on to the next one.
Fortunately I just happened to be in the right place at the right time for this awesome shot! He likes to lay in the grass now, so after a tiring afternoon of running and laughing, it sure seemed like the perfect way to end our afternoon! =)
