Two Camry Family

We decided as a family a couple weeks ago that the Tundra definitely needed to be turned in for a less costly vehicle.  Dave has been looking for months trying to find just the right car for him/us.  He called from work the other day to tell me that the Camry's had good rates and they would save us a good bit on our monthly bill, as well as in gas.  So, he cleaned out his truck before he left a couple mornings ago.

It was kind of sad for both of us because he LOVES that truck!  It was his dream truck!!  While the rates were EXCEPTIONAL for the vehicle it is, it was just getting too expensive (mine will be turned in soon for the same reasons...).  Having your "dream car" before you have kids is one thing, but the costs of kids far outweighs the luxury of dream cars!  Also, that was one of the first vehicles Brody ever rode in so it was a little sentimental...  Brody loved to play by the huge wheels, and it's been fun watching him get taller and taller in perspective to the height of them.  Even though it's sad, it's something we had to do.  I am VEY proud of him for seeing a need and working to improve it--even at his expense!  What an AWESOME MAN God blessed me with!

While Daddy cleaned, Brody played in the driveway with some of the toys that were found in the truck.

Then he took one last spin around the big guy to say his goodbyes...

Then it was time to play in the yard while we waited for Daddy to get ready for work!

The boys with their truck one last time.... =(

I can definitely say I won't miss driving it because it was SO BIG and hard to see out of.  I will definitely miss the cargo space and the ability to haul stuff (especially the bikes and jogging stroller) in the back!

"Driving" with Mommy

Bye Mr. Tundra!  You have served us well these last 3 years!!!

Daddy's NEW ride!! I LOVE it!  Very nice, yet masculine Camry!

As soon as Brody woke up Daddy took him outside to see his new car before he had to leave for work.

You look good in it, Honey!  Great choice!! =)

Checking it out....

Off to work in his new ride!  (The windows will be tinted very soon!)
